Aggelos Manousakis
Aggelos Manousakis is a charismatic Executive Chef with over 18 years of experience in the field of gastronomy. He successfully graduated from the Department of Tourism Professions, specializing as a Culinary Art Technician and Chef, at IEK OMIROS in Athens. His culinary knowledge is multicultural. He has worked as a Chef de Cuisine in an established Thai restaurant in the center of Athens. In addition, he was involved in the catering industry, serving as Chef at some of the most prestigious estates in Athens. As an Executive Chef, he has organized and structured all kitchen departments from the ground up in one of the most renowned urban courtyards of the city. Eventually, his creativity and talent led him to Fira, Santorini, where he created from scratch the distinctive cuisine of Barolo, a restaurant that has captivated guests from around the world who seek a truly unique culinary experience. In addition to Barolo Restaurant, he is also the Executive Chef of 1500 BC Restaurant and Mama's Restaurant, both located in Santorini and enjoying the same level of success and recognition. His main goal is to further develop his gastronomic art and to express his passion for culinary creation. Most recently, in 2025, he also took on the role of Executive Chef at Barolo Beach, a new seaside concept directly linked to Barolo Restaurant, expanding his culinary vision to a new, elegant beachfront setting.
